The ugly part of the internet is how we basically have no privacy when on the web. Sites like Facebook and google track your every move and record all of your information. The loss of privacy is a con of the internet and a lot of people don't know that their personal information is being collected. Everything you do seems to be traced by someone and I think it is a violation of privacy.

Facebook Invests in the Future of Wearables With Fitness App Acquisition.
This new app is a fitness app that records your workouts and will be put on social media. Although there are already apps like it this one was created by Facebook to collect data. The site focuses on collecting everyones data and has begun making Apps to track what people are doing besides when they are on Facebook.
This may seem like not a big deal but it is because of the personal information the App saves erodes privacy. It collects the data of what workouts you're doing and where you go. Its eroding privacy even more because people think they are just recording their workouts on an App for personal use but it also tracks where you go. Its scary to think that while using it someone can see where you are and what you are doing or how fast you are running. It is providing to the non private market and deceiving people, which should be a major privacy concern.
